Side effects of GLP-1 Medications
The most common side effects of Semaglutide are nausea and constipation. At WELL | BAR we take proactive measures to help reduce the severity of symptoms and ensure that the chances of these happening to you are SLIM.
Our goal at WELL | BAR is for you to use the lowest AND most effective dose of medication - we want you to lose weight steadily with minimal side effects. We help achieve this by starting you at a conservative dose and incrementally moving you up over time.
We have a few tricks up our sleeve with vitamins, minerals and OTC medications to help prevent most side effects. This material is provided and discussed at the start of your program.

Contraindications to use of Semaglutide or Tirzepitide:
You are NOT a candidate for Semaglutide orTirzepitide if any of the following medical conditions are present.
● Personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer
● Type-1 diabetes (an auto-immune condition)
● MEN – multiple endocrine neoplasia
● Pancreatitis
● Decreased kidney function

What are Semaglutide and Tirzepitide?
THE FACTS:
Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonist. It is an antidiabetic + anti-obesity drug sold under the brand names Wegovy, Ozembic, and Rybelsus.
Tirzepitide is also a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonist and targets GIP receptors—it is sold under the brand names Mounjaro and Zepbound.
THE SKINNY:
Semaglutide and Tirzepitide are given by injection into the subcutaneous tissue once per week using a tiny and painless needle.
At WELL | BAR, we work with state-of-the-art compounding facilities to bring you Semaglutide holistically formulated with vitamin B12 at a fraction of the cost of the brand names. (WELL | BAR does not work with insurance companies)
